meet sarah masters - krave's new executive chef


"Originally from Ontario, I grew up on farms where I learned at an early age to appreciate where food comes from and the love that goes into making a great meal. Remembering back as young as 5, I knew I wanted to be a chef. I was constantly in the kitchen helping my mom and grandma cook."

"I started working in restaurants when I was 14, and at the age of 17 I enrolled in the Culinary Institute of Niagara located in the heart of wine country, Niagara-on-the-Lake. It was there where I learned Classical French Cuisine and the love of Pastry Arts. After working for Wolfgang Puck at his Niagara Falls restaurant, Wolfgang Puck Café, as Lead Pastry cook, I moved west to be closer to family. "

"Now calling Edmonton home, I live with my fiancé who is also in the culinary arts, and my dog Bazil. I am honoured and excited to become a part of the krave family, and to be able to create great food and memories."
